 Connacht have made it to the quarter-finals five times in the past and the double victories over the Italians give Connacht very chance of making the last eight for the first time in three seasons. “Ten points from the two games gives us a good chance of making the quarter-finals in January so we are happy enough with that. “We showed good attitude in both matches, didn’t panic and thankfully got the reward. “It puts us into a good position for the games in January either to qualify for finishing first or go through as one of the better runners-up,” he added. |
