Photo: INPHO/Donal Farmer Connacht fell to a disappointing defeat as Scarlets came with a late surge to secure the points at the Sportsground on Friday evening. Connacht seemed poised for victory when a superb try and drop goal from Ian Keatley opened up a 14-3 lead early in the second-half. But Scarlets finished strongly, getting back in contention with a try from Deacon Manu before taking the lead four minutes from time with a try from Stephen Jones. Connacht deservedly led 6-3 at half-time thanks to two penalties from Keatley after Rhys Priestland had given Scarlet an early lead.
