| Kingston takes charge of Quins for Connacht game | |||||

Kingston, Head Coach at Harlequins, will take charge following the resignation at the weekend by Director of Rugby, Dean Richards. Richards resigned as the club launched an internal investigation into the circumstances which led the ERC to hand out a €250,000 fine to the club and a twelve months suspension to player Tom Williams after the club was found guilty of fabricating a blood injury in their Heineken Cup clash with Leinster in April. Kingston spent a successful spell at Galwegians and has been at Harlequins for several years. He will take charge for the Connacht game on Friday evening and the Middlesex Sevens at Twickenham at the weekend. This will be the first of three pre-season games for Connacht with a trip to Gloucester the following weekend before taking on Rotherham Titans at the Sportsground on Friday, February 28, a week before the opening Magners league clash against the Ospreys. |
