Connacht secured a deserved Magners League victory over Scarlets at the Sportsground on Friday night.
A try three minutes from the break by Mike McComish, after great work off a scrum by Frank Murphy and Johnny O’Connor, was the decisive score.
Ian Keatley landed the conversion from the right-wing for Connacht to lead 13-0 at the interval.
Earlier Keatley had converted two penalties for Michael Bradley’s men.
Connacht continued to dominate in the second-half with Rhys Priestland and Keatley swapping penalties.
Scarlets secured a late bonus point thanks to a try from Lee Williams which was superbly converted from the left touchline by Dan Newton in the dying seconds of the game.
