Members of the Connacht Squad got behind charity fundraiser ‘Movember’ to raise money for The Irish Cancer Society and their men's health programme Action Prostate Cancer. The month long event sees the players refrain from shaving their moustaches but must remain clean shaven otherwise. Prop Ronan Loughney, himself sporting some “growth” on his upper lip had this to say: “We’re delighted to support Movember, men’s health issues aren’t often talked about so hopefully by raising awareness we can show people that it’s not a taboo subject. It’s a bit of fun as well, the lads are always jibbing at each other about how ridiculous they look and to be honest, some of them do look a bit weird, but it’s all for a very worthy cause so no-one minds too much!” Ronan Lougney and Robbie Morris are pictured getting their "Mo's" tidied up at Fat Tony's Barber Shop in Galway.
