Connacht 20
Montpellier 10
Connacht booked a place in the Amlin Challenge Cup with a deserved victory over Montpellier at the Sportsground as Michael Bradley’s men made it five wins from five.
Two tries in the second-half from Liam Bibo and Fionn Carr were enough to secure victory.
The sides were deadlocked 3-3 at the interval after Connacht had defended superbly against the strong wind.
Ian Keatley landed a second penalty four minutes after the restart for a lead Connacht never lost.
Bibo struck for a try in the right corner after 57 minutes and seven minutes later Fionn Carr crossed to secure the win.
