Connacht had to settle for a bonus point at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday evening in the Magners League.

Connacht trailed 11-6 at the interval after Ian Keatley and Dan Biggar twice exchanged penalties either side of Ospreys full-back Gareth Owen getting the opening try.

Ospreys opened up a 19-6 lead shortly after the restart with a penalty and a try from Biggar but Connacht fought back and a superb try from Sean Cronin after 57 minutes hauled them back into contention.

Keatley reduced the deficit with a penalty after 62 minutes and he landed another five minutes from time but Connacht were unable to secure a match-winning score.
