Connacht came very close to taking the spoils from their Magners League derby in the RDS. Fionn Carr crossed the line after just 2 minutes and again after 22 minutes, both of which we converted by Miah Nikora to give Connacht a healthy lead into the break, Rob Kearneys unconverted try and a Johnathon Sexton penalty acounting for Leinsters 8 - 14 points tally. Leinster scored first after the break with a Jonathon Sexton penalty and drew level when he slotted another kick at goal after 70 minutes. A tense finsh saw Sexton miss a penatly but kick a drop goal in the last minute of play to give Leinster the win. It finised up 17-14 with Connacht picking up a bonus point.
