Connacht scored 3 tries in their impressive win over Leinster in the refixed Magners League derby match on Wednesday night. Inital fears of the match being too close to the Munster and Scarlets fixtures were put aside half an hour into the game when Brian Tuohy took an inside pop ball from Fionn Carr to dot down under the posts. Miah Nikora converted leaving the half time score at 7-0. The second half saw Shaun Berne kick two penalties and convert a penalty try for Leinster but they were out gunned by a resurrgent Connacht who scored trys through Michal Swift and Troy Nathan with Nikora adding the extras along with a penalty and a drop goal.
