An understrength Connacht side went down to a heavy defeat at Parc y Scarlets on Sunday.

The demands of trying to play three games in eight days took its toll as Connacht prepare for Friday’s Amlin Challenge Cup semi-final against Toulon.

Scarlets led 31-3 at the break, with Eoin Griffin scoring his first try for Connacht in the second-half.
