Connacht hooker Sean Cronin crowned a great season when he picked up his fourth cap against Australia at the weekend.

The 24 year old, who made his debut in the tour to North America last summer, bolstered his international career with 70 minutes in the 22-15 loss to the Wallabies.

Cronin, who had a superb season with Connacht, playing a huge role in the march to the semi-finals of the Amlin Challenge Cup, picked up his third cap when he started against the All-Blacks on the tour.

Cronin will now take a well-earned rest before starting pre-season training with Connacht and will hopefully return to action for Ireland in the Autumn Internationals.
