This Friday afternoon (2.30pm), a Connacht A team will take on their Leinster counterparts in an interprovincial challenge in the Sportsground. It will be a strong Conacht A team that will square up to the British & Irish Cup side. Coach Nigel Carolan will use the opportunity to give some of the fringe players from Eric Elwood's team some much needed game time as well as testing some of his academy prospects against quality opposition. Speaking about the game, the former Connacht player and Ireland under 20 coach said "We're looking forward to welcoming Leinster A to the Sportsground for what will be an exciting and competitive game of rugby. Hopefully we will get to have a look at some guys and give game time to others so it will be extremely benefcial in that regard."

Season Ticket Holders will be admited for free and tickets will be available on the gate. It should be a good afternoon of rugby!
