‘Knock-on’ down to the Sportsground for a fun-tastic evening with all the family!
Connacht Rugby open their gates to supporters for their last home game of the season against the Cardiff Blues on Friday the 15th of April, and are delighted to invite families to attend for a pre-match evening of jam-packed family fun.
Kicking off at 6pm, Connacht’s training pitch will be transformed into a fun arena with rugby themed games, bouncing castles, bungees, giant board games, candy floss, popcorn and more! A special marquee will be erected for parents to enjoy pre-match drinks where they can keep an eye on their little ones enjoying the games. Some of the off duty players will be on hand to meet children, sign autographs and join in on the fun.
There will also fun for the 'bigger kids' with a marquee and some finger-food as well as live enterainment after the game.
Connacht Rugby’s Head Coach, Eric Elwood, is very excited about this evening of rugby family fun, saying, “We wanted to thank everyone for their fantastic support and as it is the last game of the season, we thought it a good opportunity to engage with our younger supporters and give them a little something extra to look forward to prior to the game”.
Gates open for families at 6pm, with match kick off at 7.45pm. All are encouraged to come as early as possible to ensure they enjoy all the activities to their full potential. Special family packages of four tickets [2 adults and 2 children] are available for only €30.
Tickets are available from Ticketmaster or the Connacht Rugby Branch. Log onto www.connachtrugby.ie for more information and to keep up to date on all of Connacht Rugby’s news and fixtures.
