Rugby Breakfast in Aid of Ability West Why go all the way to New Zealand to experience the rugby world cup? Let Ability West bring the world cup atmosphere to you. On Saturday, Sept 17th Ireland play Australia in their second pool game. Game kicks off at 9:30am. Come join us in Monroe’s Tavern, Galway. Doors open at 8:00am. For just €20, you get your breakfast and entrance into our live rugby show. Our show will have live expert analysis of the game with Ollie Turner and John Mulligan acting as MC on the morning. The analysis will be provided by Noel Mannion, former Connacht and Irish International and Seamus King former Connacht coach. Eoghan Grace, Dave Nolan and Andrew Browne, all members of the current Connacht squad have very kindly made themselves available and will be in attendance on the morning. We also have a number of special guests joining us on the day. Prizes on the day include, signed International jerseys from New Zealand, Australia and of course Ireland. We also have signed rugby gear from Connacht Rugby and tickets to some of Connacht’s home games. So come along and join us for what will be a fantastic morning of craic and entertainment. And most importantly of all, all profits from the morning will go to Ability West. Ability West is a voluntary organisation dedicated to enabling and supporting people with Intellectual Disabilities. At present we provide services and supports to 500 children and adults with intellectual disabilities throughout Galway City and County. Tickets are selling fast so please book in advance. This takes place on Saturday September 17th at 9:30 AM. We are holding this event in Monroe’s Tavern Galway. The idea is that we have a live panel of 3 to 4 former and current rugby players giving their own analysis of the game both before and after the game. At the moment we have Connacht Rugby, Galway Bay FM and Noel Mannion all willing to help out. As well as having the discussion about the game we also have a number of prizes lined up for the event. So far we have signed jerseys from the All Blacks, Australia and Connacht with hopefully Ireland and the other provincial jerseys on the way. We also have a commitment from Connacht Rugby for tickets to some of their home fixtures.
