Connacht/Munster Scenario Based Training
Munster travelled to the Sportsground for an afternoon training session with Connacht ahead of the new PRO14 Championship Season. The session was split in backs v backs, forwards v forwards, individual scenarios and a 4o minute full contact game. Connacht Season Ticket Holders were given exclusive access to the session and despite wet and windy conditions there was a large crowd in attendance.

Season Ticket Holders were also treated to pitch side interviews with Head Coach Kieran Keane and Tiernan O'Halloran. On his first occasion meeting Connacht supporters the new Head Coach talked about the excitement that the newly revised Guinness PRO14 Championship will bring.

Speaking after the session Keane said: "We are in for a really exciting season ahead. I am delighted that we are opening our campaign with two home games. Obviously the first game against Glasgow Warriors is a huge game and I am looking forward to coming up against Dave Rennie who I obviously know very well. The second round will also be huge with the Southern Kings making the journey up from South Africa. I'm sure we will have a massive atmosphere in the Sportsground throughout the season"

There are still a small number of Season Tickets available here.
