The large Connacht crowd which travelled to Madrid last weekend saw many old friends meet up for the first time in years, including six former Presidents of the Connacht Branch.
They bumped into each other at half-time in the game at the university ground and enjoyed watching Connacht stroll home to victory and a place in the quarter-finals of the Amlin Challenge Cup.
They are, pictured from left: Sean Calleary (Ballina, 2006-07), Daithi Frawley (Portumna, 2003-04), Stephen Walsh (Westport, 1978-79), Joe Daly (Creggs, 1999-00), Michael Cunningham (Westport, 2007-08) and current CEO Gerry Kelly (Ballinalsoe, 1995-96).
