Connacht Rugby are delighted to advise all 2016/17 Season Ticket Holders that they plus a friend are invited to an exclusive Season Ticket Holder event on Friday, August 26th from 4pm to 5:30pm at the Sportsground. Gates open at 3:30pm and Season Ticket Holders must bring their season ticket card or confirmation email to gain access to the event.

As a Season Ticket Holder you will have exclusive access to watch the team in a no-holds-barred training session as they compete for a place in the opening game of the season against Glasgow Warriors the following week. Pat and his coaching team will provide introductory and closing commentary to the session to ensure you are kept up to speed with what’s happening on the pitch.

You will be joined by the team and management for a questions and answers session and this season’s new players will introduce themselves to you. You will have the opportunity to have jerseys and other memorabilia signed and have your photo taken with the players,  Eddie the Eagle and the Guinness PRO12 Trophy.

There will be prizes to be won throughout the afternoon including the opportunity to be the mascot and run onto the pitch with the captain, the opportunity to carry the Guinness PRO12 Trophy out onto the pitch for the opening game of the season and be interviewed before the game and the chance to bring the Guinness PRO12 Trophy to your place of work accompanied by a member of the winning squad. Discounts will be available from Intersport Elverys on the new season’s range. Food and beverages will be available to purchase and The Clan Bar will be open to all those over 18.

It will be the perfect start to what promises to be an exciting season and we look forward to welcoming all Season Ticket Holders to this pre-season event.
