The Connacht Rugby Coach Development Department have recruited former Ulster Head Coach  Brian McLaughlin to deliver a presentation on Continuity Skills in Buccaneers RFC on Wednesday, November 1 at 7:30pm.

The presentation is open to coaches from all levels across the province.

McLaughlin led Ulster to the Heineken Cup final in 2012 and helped them reach the semi-finals of the PRO12 in 2011.

He was also Skills Coach to the Ireland senior side under Eddie O’Sullivan between 2005 and 2008 along with Ireland U21s Coach.

McLaughlin is a recognised expert in techniques of recycling the ball rapidly in contact. This is a skill that has become so critical that many coaches work off the premise that if it takes more than five seconds for a ball to emerge from a ruck, the chances of a successful attack are greatly diminished.

There is a very high demand on places at this presentation. It costs €20 to attend and you can book your place on the course here.
