U20 10s Series Update - New Teams Welcome!
It's two legs down, two legs to go in the 2018/19 Connacht U20 10s Series which began last month.

The tournament, which was introduced for the first time last season, encourages those beginning their time in college to keep playing rugby with their local clubs in fast, attacking games.

The first leg was held at The Sportsground on Sunday 29th July with Galwegians just coming out on top of their four team pool which also included Ballina, NUIG/Corinthians and Creggs.

NUIG then emerged victorious in the second leg which was held in Westport last Saturday. They won both their games against Creggs and Galwegians with Creggs finishing second.

Those results means it's still all to play for in the Series with just four points separating the top three teams. Galwegians lead the way on 16 points, followed by NUIG on 14, Creggs on 12, Ballina on 8 and Corinthians on 2.

It's Corinthians who host the third leg which takes place on Friday 24th August @ 6pm, and applications are now OPEN for teams who wish to take part.

Those who wish to enter can fill out the below application form and email it to lyndon.jones@connachtrugby.ie. Individual players can also enter and will be added to a 'Barbarians' style team.

In case you need reminding, here's a look back on how last year's U20 10s Series finished up as Ballinrobe took home the trophy.
