Its round 8 of the BKT United Rugby Championship as Connacht travel to Thomond Park for an interprovincial derby against Munster.

What’s the state of play so far?

Connacht make their way to Limerick on the back of back-to-back wins against Welsh opposition. Wins against Scarlets and Ospreys saw Andy Friend’s side end block one of URC games in good form.

This is Munster’s third interprovincial derby in-a-row in the URC having lost the previous two against Ulster and Leinster. However they do come into this game on the back of an impressive win over South Africa ‘A’ during the international break.
