Do you want to achieve a coaching qualification in GAA, Rugby and Soccer so that you can work as a Coach?

Goal to Work multi agency committee would like to invite applications for this sports coach training programme. Participation on this course will not affect a social welfare payment and there are no course fees.

Trainee Coaches must:

* Be unemployed or working part time and in receipt of a social
welfare payment or previously self employed

* Have an interest in GAA, Soccer and Rugby

* Be willing to participate in a 12 week training programme for
approximately 3 days each week, 9.30am – 4.30pm

Awards achieved will include:

* Rugby – Mini and Foundation Rugby Coaching Award

* GAA – Foundation Coaching Award

* FAI – Kick Start 1

* IT Skills

* FETAC Personal Effectiveness

* FETAC Occupational Sports First Aid Level 5

* Child Protection in Sport

* Disability Awareness Training

* Irish Sports Council Active Leadership Training

Places will be limited to 12 Trainee Coaches. Application process is by means of application form. All suitable applicants must undergo a formal interview and successful candidates will be offered a place as a Trainee Coach.

Interviews will take place week of 21st April in Swinford and course will commence on 28th April 2014.
