10 years ago Ballinasloe rugby club is holding it’s annual Michael Fitzpatrick Memorial Golf Classic as it’s fundraiser at Ballinasloe Golf Club on Saturday next, October 13th, with tees held from 09.00am to 3.00pm on the day. Teams of four, in any combination are welcome to participate and the entry fee has been set at a modest 100euros per team. This has proved to be a very popular tournament over the years with teams from many different parts of the country taking part. The event honours the memory of the late Michael Fitzpatrick, known affectionately as Mickey Fitz, who gave many dedicated years of service to the club and in his time held the office of
