Ballinrobe and Creggs Steal a March in fourth round of Elverys U20 10s Series
The fourth round of the Elverys Sports U20 10s Series was held on Saturday at Corinthians RFC with Ballinrobe and Creggs battling it out over a 3 match, mini-series.

The first match of the day was an end to end encounter with some fantastic play from both sides however, neither could be separated, as the match finished 19 all. After the sparring of the first match, Creggs took the initiative and clinched the second, 19 – 7. Ballinrobe had thrown everything at Creggs but were unable to claw back the deficit. Creggs ran out 24 – 0 winners in the final match and claimed the maximum 10 points for finishing top of the days standings.

Despite the results on the day, Ballinrobe will not be too disappointed, as they claimed 8 points for finishing second, moving them top of the overall leader board. A special mention goes to the Tuam players who participated on the day.

The overall winners of the Connacht U20s 10s Series will receive €5,000 worth of equipment from Elverys Sports for their club.

The next Leg of the Series will take place on Saturday 25th of November, Venue – TBC.
