After six legs of rugby involving nine teams across eight months, Ballinrobe were crowned the first winners of the Elverys U20 10s Series on Saturday.
In beautiful conditions at Tuam RFC, the Mayo side saw off Creggs 33-14 in what turned out to be a series decider between the two sides. A Westport / Tuam combo outfit were also in action.
In total well over 200 players took part in the competition, which was created as a way of getting Under 20 players to compete in exciting, free flowing rugby.
As the overall winners, Ballinrobe have won €5000 worth of club gear, all with thanks to Elverys Intersport.
