TRAINING RESUMES
The coming season’s Ulster Bank League has an even earlier than usual start with the first round of matches scheduled for Saturday, September 13th. That’s two weeks earlier than the most recent couple of seasons, which had commenced earlier than heretofore. So it is back to training for all adult players from this Tuesday, July 22nd at 7 p.m. Here’s hoping to see all the familiar faces back in peak condition and raring to go! New players always welcome too.

CONGRATULATIONS
With three players in the British Open top ten this week, it was a good week to be Irish, especially Rory McIlroy who won his third Major and collected a cheque worth close to one million euro. But another golfer with a notable achievement (and even closer to home than Shane Lowry) was Noel Enright, who recorded his first-ever hole-in-one at Enniscrone. Well done, Noel.
