Bundee Aki and Jack Carty named in Rugby World Cup squad
Bundee Aki and Jack Carty have been named in the final 31-man Ireland squad for the Rugby World Cup.

The pair will now travel to Japan next week after the final warm-up game against Wales, and will aim to be part of the first Ireland squad to reach the semi-finals.

Carty made his first Test start for Ireland in Saturday's win over Wales in Cardiff, producing a man-of-the-match performance. His Ireland debut came off the bench against Italy in this year's Six Nations, and also played cameo roles in the games against France and Wales.

Aki made his Ireland debut against South Africa in the 2017 November Internationals, and started all five games in the Grand Slam winning Six Nations campaign in 2018.
