Holders Calasanctius College from Oranmore retained their Connacht Tribune Schools Junior Cup title at the Sportsground on Wednesday.
Flanker Paul O’Donnell got their opening try and prop Tom Huxford added a second before Rice College responded with a try from Ernan Geraghty.
But O’Donnell got his second try for Calasanctius to lead by 17-5 at the break and they held on for their second crown during a scoreless second-half.
