We all know what happens to the best laid plans, our away fixture to Ballinasloe last Saturday night was postponed at the last minute leaving players and supporters disappointed, the fixture will be rearranged shortly.

LADIES TEAM
The Angels put in a typically brave shift in their opening Connacht Womens League match v Sligo at Leitrim Village last Sunday but were swept aside by a far superior Sligo outfit that will be surely challenging for honours this season. Despite the gap in class there was plenty for coach Ian Fowden and the ladies to take heart from and we look forward to the remainder of our campaign.

Carrick RFC’s opening U17 Connacht League Div 2 v Ballyhaunis last Sunday met the same fate as the seniors with a last minute postponement disappointing players and supporters. The match however will be rescheduled shortly.

Youth and Minis rugby training will continue at the Stade de Mohill on Saturday from 10.30 am. Registration for the season will be 40 euro. Bring a friend and bring a gumshield. Old faces and new players are welcome.
As the juvenile section of Carrick RFC continues to grow we require new youths rugby coaches in order to keep up with demands. Experienced coaches and ex players wishing to pass on their experience to a new generation are welcome. If this is a challenge you want to take on please contact the numbers below.
