Vacancies for Head Coach and Assistant Coach

OLBC RFC, playing in Division 1A of the Connacht Junior League, has an immediate vacancy for a head coach and assistant coach for the 2010 / 2011 season and beyond.
In addition to its first team in Div 1A, OLBC has fielded a second team in Div 2 and a Under -20’s side in recent seasons.
The head coach position will carry the following responsibilities:

–     Coaching and Fitness
–    Team Selection
–    Liaison with Club Committee
–    Player Development
–    Supervision/Appointment of Assistant Coach/s and team managers

OLBC RFC are based at the Sportsground in Galway City, the home of Connacht Rugby, and some of the supports available to the successful candidate(s) includes:

•    Pitches at Sportsground and Newcastle in Galway
•    Floodlights at Sportsground (plans to upgrade to game standard)
•    All training and match day equipment available incl. scrum machine
•    Physio at all 1st and 2nd team games
•    Playing, training, and social kit provided for all players and coaches
