The Coaching Department of the Connacht Branch are pleased to announce the Scrum Clinic with Dan McFarland will take place on Monday the 1st February at 7.30pm in The Sportsground, College Road, Galway.

A former player at Connacht, Stade Francais and Richmond, McFarland is the current Connacht forwards coach and is recognised nationally as a scrummaging expert. He was also assitant coach to the Irish U20 Grand Slam winning team along with Eric Elwood.

The workshop will cover areas such as individual body postions, set and binding options and problem solving. The workshop is aimed at coaches who are working with teams of Level 1 (U16) or higher.
As the session will involve some outdoor practical demonstration it is advisable to bring a jacket/wetgear.
