Important information regarding the Connacht Rugby Summer SkillZone Series

Terms and Conditions

Connacht Rugby are delighted to run this series throughout the province. Due to Covid 19, new guidelines and procedures for coaches, parents and children will need to be followed when attending events in the future. Connacht Rugby want to have a safe and fun environment for all, so please read through the guidelines below.

Registration

All participants must complete our health check form. The link to complete the health check will be emailed or text to you a minimum of 24hrs prior to the camp. This must be completed before arriving on each day of the camp.

If you/your child feels unwell in advance of the camp, you should not attend and contact Connacht Rugby.

The daily health check declaration must be filled in honestly as we must keep the environment safe for all, coaches and other children attending.

Child Drop Off

There will be a strict drop off and pick up procedure in place at each venue. A simple traffic flow system will be in place where staff will confirm your child’s registration and guide them onto pitch and likewise when event is finished, staff will assist children to cars. There will be a one-way system on and off the pitch. Groups will each have an area to rest in and social distancing will be observed when in these rest areas. (We are asking people to stay in their cars and staff will register and guide your child to the pitch and back to your car when event finishes)

Pods

Your child will be allocated into a pod by age, please make sure their date of birth is correctly filled in on registration form and health check form. There will be no changing, swapping or crossing over within pods on day/days of camp. If one child is showing signs or symptoms of Covid 19, that pod will stop activity and parent/guardian contacted and children brought home, Child who presents with symptoms will need to consult with their GP and all parents of children in that pod will contacted and updated from that consultation.

Access to Club Facilities

There will be strictly no access to the club house (except for bathroom facilities) in any venue.

What to bring?

Please bear in mind with no access to changing rooms or club house and possible lack of shelter at pitch side, all children should bring the following.

Wet gear/top, change of clothes, packed lunch, and water.

Each child will receive a BLK Connacht top and Rhino Connacht rugby ball.

These are challenging times with lots of changes so please follow staffs lead on the day, we want each child to have a fun, enjoyable experience in a safe environment.

Cancelation of a camp

Our hope is that government guidelines come June, July and August allow to stage all our camps, however in the event restrictions do not allow a camp/camps to go ahead, refunds will be issued, please note these are subject to Future Ticketing’s admin fee.
