Connacht 7’s through to quarter finals in Limerick
In their first year in the competition and the first taste of 7’s rugby for most players, Connacht won two of their three pool games at Thomond Park as part of the Limerick World Club 7’s.

Coach Conor McPhillips was pleased with his side’s solid performance. After just coming together this week, training time was limited but the squad stuck to their structures and took their chances well to run in 11 tries over the three games.  Fionn Carr was the top try scorer with five.

The side, captained by Shane Layden, will face New York in the quarter finals tomorrow. Kick off time TBC.
