Connacht’s 2016 year finished with a disappointing 9 – 16 loss at home to table-toppers Munster in difficult conditions at the Sportsground.

Jack Carty kicked three from four from the tee but a second half try from Munster hooker Rhys Marshall as well as 11 points from the boot of Ian Keatley was the difference.
