The Connacht U18, sponsored by GMIT, matchday squad for Sunday’s 12:30 PM interprovincial clash against Munster at Dubarry Park, Athlone has been named.
After a 24-17 defeat to Leinster last weekend, the Westerners will hope to go one better and have named a matchday squad featuring players from ten Connacht clubs.
Sean Hopkins starts at loosehead and will pack down beside hooker Ronan Lydon and tight-head Charlie Byrne.
Alistair Hill joins Blayze Molloy in the second row, while the back row features Eoin Kelly at blindside flanker, Max Flynn at openside and Conor Ryan at number eight.
Joey Tierney and Ryan Roche form the half-back pairing with Hugh Gavin, inside centre, and Sean Fox, outside centre, are selected in the centres.
Shane Fitzpatrick and Cathal Kelly are selected as wingers with Cody Farrell operating as the full-back.
Oisin Dolan, John Hughes, Dylan Bolger, Jame Treacy, Charlie Leonard, Ben Matheson Charlie Naughton and Eoghan Flannerey form a strong replacements bench.
