Connacht players Robbie Morris and Keith Matthews joined members of the Try Rugby Summer Camps this week to help coach skills and develop rugby at the Dangan Summer Camp.
The Summer Camps are sponsored by Centra and are run by the Connacht Branch to provide an introduction to rugby for children from 6 to 12 years old. The Camps are coached by qualified coaches and introduce skills such as passing, kicking, tackling and teamwork in a fun and safe environment. Each week members of the Connacht Squad pay a visit to each camp to help the coaches and pass on some of their knowledge.
Robbie Morris has been capped for England and played with the Newcastle Falcons before joining Connacht in 2007 while 28 year old Keith Matthews has played for Ireland at U19 and U21 level.
