Connacht Rugby SkillZone

Connacht Rugby Club and Community are launching a new initiative called Connacht Rugby SkillZone which caters for players from 6-16 years of age on a one day basis.  This initiative will be held during midterms and other times of the year (Saturday mornings etc).

The focus will be game based (small sided games) for minis and position specific/player centered for youths.  For minis the focus will be on Fun, Free, Fast, Flowing games.   For Youth players it will give them the opportunity to learn new skills, tactics, and positional expertise.  

These one day events will be overseen by Connacht Rugby staff who are IRFU accredited coaches and are also involved in both Regional and Interprovincial Squads. Members of the Connacht Rugby squad will also attend the events and take part in coaching for both minis and youths. 

SkillZone will take place on Feb. 15^th (boys) and Feb. 16^th (girls) in Tuam RFC from 9:15-1:30.

To attend, all players must be registered in advance. There will be no registrations taken on the day.

The cost of the course is €20 per attendee, which includes an official piece of SillZone merchandise.
