Connacht selectors hold firm for Munster game
The Connacht Junior Interprovincial rugby selectors have kept faith in the fifteen who started against Leinster for their game against Munster on Saturday in Ballincollig at 2.30pm.
Connacht led last week’s game for seventy minutes and were only beaten by an intercept try late on with the final score reading 23 to 17 in favour of Leinster.
The performance however deserved a better result and the squad heads to Cork looking to upset Munster’s title challenge and end their campaign with a win.
Coaches Seamus King and Eddie Walshe have one injury worry ahead of the game as second row Willie Parker suffered an ankle injury in training this week and will undergo a fitness test just before the game. As a result the substitutes will not be named until it is known whether Parker can play or not.
