Full time at the Sportsground and the Connacht Eagles have beaten Germany by 50 points to 7.

First half tries were scored by Mata Fifita, Rory Parata, Shane Layden, David Panter & John Cooney. Outhalf Shane O’Leary kicked three of the conversions.

Nigel Carolan’s men conceded just before the break.

In the second half, skipper Eoghan Masterson, replacement outhalf Conor McKeon and Irelan’d U20’s Ciaran Gaffney all crossed the whitewash with McKeon adding two conversions.

On their anticipated return from injury, Jake Heenan and Tiernan O’Halloran played 60 minutes with no concern.
