Connacht Eagles’ Head Coach Nigel Carolan has named his side for the opening interpro game against Munster ‘A’ tomorrow at Musgrave Park, KO 5pm.

The squad includes a mix of 10 Senior, 10 Academy and a number of club players.

Following his return to club rugby with Galwegians RFC last weekend, Dave Nolan makes a welcome return to the provincial game after a long spell on the sidelines through injury. He is joined in the second row by senior player Mick Kearney.

Most notably amongst the backs, veteran scrum half Frank Murphy will start in Cork tomorrow afternoon – his first Connacht game of the season. Murphy, who missed the last season due to an unfortunate injury, will captain the Eagles tomorrow.
