It was a proud day for Jack Carty and his family, club and school as the Connacht native made his earned his first Ireland cap in yesterday’s Six Nations win over Italy in Rome.
 
The fly-half came off the bench with five minutes to go as the side claimed a bonus point win to keep their Championship hopes alive.
