Looking for a New Year Hobbie – Give Refereeing a try!

The Association of Referees Connacht Branch are looking to recruit new referees in 2011 and are running a New Recruits course on Saturday the 15th of January.

Benefits to becoming a referee:

– Provide an invaluable service to your province

– It’s a great hobby that keeps you fit

– Active participation in our great game

– Monthly Workshops and Courses

– Gear

– Games at every level to cater for your ability with a clear pathway to progress

– Benefit your club financially through the clubs of Ireland Scheme

So if you have ever thought of becoming a referee then don’t think twice.  We would be delighted to have you at our next New Recruits Course.   You do not have to be a member of a rugby club and all levels of rugby experience are catered for.  The minimum requirements are that you are 18 years old or older, have a basic level of fitness and an availability to referee.

The next New Recruits Course will be on Saturday the 15th January 2011 at the Sportsground in Galway.

To register for the course or for further information please contact David O’Brien on 087-6418340 or by email at [email protected]
