Following discussion with Broadcast Partners and the participating teams, the GUINNESS PRO12 is now in a position to confirm the 2016/17 fixture list as well as the dates and kick off times for Connacht Rugby games in rounds 1 – 12 and round 20.

Defending champions Connacht Rugby will open the new season by playing host to 2014/15 winners and last season’s play-off opponents Glasgow Warriors at the Sportsground. Kick off on Saturday September 3rd is at 5:15pm.

Pat Lam’s men will be at home at the Sportsground again a week later, and welcome Welsh side Ospreys for 7:35pm Saturday night kick off.

The first interpro game of the season sees Connacht welcome Ulster Rugby to Galway on Friday October 7th before the European Champions Cup takes over for a fortnight.

Munster will visit the Sportsground for the big Christmas season derby on New Year’s Eve, kick off 5:30pm. Round 20 between Connacht and Leinster has already been confirmed for Friday April 14th at 7:35pm.

Of the eight home league games confirmed, there is an even split between those played on Friday and Saturday. All but two of Connacht’s 14 scheduled games will be televised.
