The wait for the Heineken Cup to return to the stadiums and TV screens of Europe ended last weekend when the 19th season of the world’s most competitive club rugby tournament kicked off with an enthralling series of Round 1 matches.

Saracens edged past Connacht 23-17 after a tension-packed finish at the Sportsground and the focus now turns to round 2 as Pat Lam’s men travel to Northern Italy to take on familiar opponents Zebre.

Rounds 3 and 4 in December see Connacht front up against French powerhouse Stade Toulousain and tickets for both fixtures are proving very popular.

Connacht travel to the South of France first and tickets for traveling supporters will be available here at the Connacht Rugby office from next week. Tickets are located in Section Nord 6 + 7 (view stadium map) and are priced at €20.

Tickets for the reverse fixture here at the Sportsground on Saturday, December 14th are currently on sale from, from the Connacht Rugby office and in Centra and SuperValu stores nationwide. Supporters are encouraged to purchase early for this marquee fixture. There are currently a very limited number of Clan Terrace tickets available online.

The final two pool matches, scheduled for mid-January, have yet to be finalised and will include the away game in Allianz Park, London and the home clash with Zebre. Ticket prices and availability will be communicated once known.
