Former Colaiste Iognaid pupil Claire Molloy will captain the Irish Womens Sevens Side this weekend as they seek qualification for the 2013 World Cup competition.

Molloy, based in Bristol for the past few seasons while studying medicine, has sworn by her local roots come interpro time and has been a mainstay at openside flanker for Connacht. Fellow Connacht gamebreaker Ali Miller is the second Connacht inclusion in the high-profile squad to Ghent, Belgium.
