Junior Cup rugby kicks off in Connacht after this weekend.
The much-vaunted draw opens the campaign, Loughrea’s MOYLAN’S PUB playing host on Monday evening.
Whereas the league competition rewards consistent performance and player-depth, the knockout cup competitions throw up perennial surprises as heavily-favoured rugbyheavyweights succumb to giant-killing efforts from plucky rank outsiders.
