Kolo Kiripati in action for Buccaneers in his playing days.

Connacht Rugby and Loughrea RFC are delighted to announce that former Buccaneers stalwart Kolo Kiripati will provide a coaches workshop on the breakdown at the club on Monday, September 25 (7pm-8pm).

Kolo played a pivotal role in the Buccaneers back-row for the past decade and has recently taken up the role of Head Coach at North Kildare.

He will work with Loughrea RFC youth players on the skills of carrying into contact, ball presentation, and effective rucking techniques on the night.

Conor Galvin, Connacht Rugby Coach Development Officer for east Connacht, said: “Kolo has been a mentor to countless young Buccaneers players over the years as they have transitioned from youth to adult rugby.

“In one of my first events as CDO of the region I am delighted to be able to bring his experience to a wider audience of coaches.”
