This is just a sample of some of our courses/events coming up in November;
 
SAQ Foundation Course on Friday 16th Nov
Speed, Agility and Quickness (SAQ) is a system of training that enhances performance in all sports. It improves acceleration, speed, fast arm action, footwork, response time and explosiveness. It increases visual awareness, hand-to-eye co-ordination, and general manual dexterity. It promotes control, energy utilisation and strength development. SAQ concentrates on proper running form and explosive movement patterns for sports which require speed, agility and quickness as a base prerequiste for success.
The foundation course is aimed at Sports Coaches. This is a fully certified and accrediated course through SAQ Ireland (website for further information www.saqireland.net <http://www.saqireland.net>  ). This course introduces participants to the SAQ (Speed, Agility and Quickness) system of training. It explains the principles on which the system was founded, formally teaches the first three steps of the system and demonstrates & teaches exercises and drills which will promote and enhance speed, agility and quickness.
Volunteering in Sport Seminar Thursday 22nd Nov
A ‘Volunteering in Sport' seminar, with keynote speaker Mr Micheal O Muireachtaigh will be held in Claremorris Area in November.
This seminar will help showcase local clubs and look at best practice for the recruitment & retention of volunteers in sport.
 
Active Leadership Course on Friday & Saturday 23rd and 24th Nov
This training course is aimed any people wishing to contribute to their community by becoming trained as a community sports leader.
The intended outcome is that the trainee leader will be competent and confident in taking charge of a group for physical activity sessions. Specifically, the successful leader will be equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to plan, organise and lead physical activity sessions within their own group setting.

 Video Analysis of Team Performance 28th Nov
This workshop will focus on the practical application of Video technology using Dartfish*. The presentation will cover all aspects of video analysis. You will be guided through the practicalities of employing such technology to develop the player or athlete.
This course is suitable for, level 1/2/3 coaches looking to add to their skill set, Coaches looking to gain a valuable qualification, Coaches looking at employing such a system
