2019 Connacht Senior League set for dramatic conclusion
The 2019 Connacht Senior League is set to go right to the wire this weekend with Sligo and Buccaneers level on points heading into Saturday's final round of fixtures.

While Buccaneers have a storied history in the Connacht Senior League, Sligo could win an historic Senior League title if results go their way.

A better points difference of 29 means Sligo lead the way, and a win away to Galwegians should be enough to win the league unless Buccaneers rack up a big win at home to Ballina.

Despite being out of the title running Galwegians still have something to play for - a win would see them leapfrog Corinthians into 3rd and a bye straight into the semi-finals of the Connacht Senior Cup. Ballina are already guaranteed a bottom two finish meaning they'll play a preliminary round cup tie against either Galwegians or Corinthians.
