2025/26 Connacht U18 Girl's Extended Squad Announced

The Connacht U18 Girls' management team have announced an extended 34-player squad for the upcoming IRFU PwC U18 Girls' Interprovincial Championship.

Their campaign begins on Sunday 10^th August with a trip to Virgin Media Park to play Munster (k/o 2:00pm), followed by back-to-back home games at Corinthians RFC. First up is Ulster on Saturday 16^th August (k/o 1:00pm), followed by the visit of Leinster on Saturday 23^rd August (k/o 12:15pm). The finals are scheduled to take place on Saturday 30^th August at Wanderers FC.

The team will play two warm-up games ahead of the Interpro series against EIRA in Loughrea RFC on Tuesday, 22nd July and then against Munster in Tuam RFC on Wednesday, 30th July. 

Head Coach Craig Hansberry says, "we’ve got a young squad, full of potential, and our focus this season is on building skills, confidence, and a strong team culture. With many of last year’s players moving up to the senior ranks, this is a great opportunity to lay solid foundations for the future. I’m really proud of how eager the girls are to learn and support one another. We’ve just come off a great team bonding weekend at Westport House, where the girls had a training session in Westport United before camping and taking part in some brilliant activities — it’s already brought them closer together".
