3,400+ young people take part in Connacht Rugby Festivals

In the last three weeks over 3,400 young people have participated in 23 End of Season Rugby Festivals across the province.

These festivals consisted of Girls Tag Rugby, Girls 10-a-side contact rugby, U14 boys 10-a-side rugby and mixed National Schools Aldi Play Rugby (Tag or Touch Rugby).

Over 70 club volunteers were involved in helping run the events, as were all 14 Club and Community Rugby Officers and the Women's Rugby Development Officer, the Rugby Participation Officer and the Club & Community Administrator, with help from the North West Region Coach Development Officer.
